Recipe Rice And Black Beans

ingredients:

500 gr of cooked black beans, 1 tablespoon of cumin, 1 green pepper, 1 pinch of oregano, 50 grams of bacon, extra virgin olive oil, 1 bay leaf, salt, long-grain rice.





Recipe:

Let's start by putting some oil in the pan and when it is hot let us put the bacon cut into small pieces. Wash and cut the pepper into small cubes and add them to the bacon, add a bay leaf and let it go for about 5 minutes. Then add the beans and a little of the cooking water, the cumin and the oregano, a pinch of salt and let it cook for 5 minutes. In the meantime, boil the rice and when everything is ready, place the rice on the bottom of the plate and pour our beans on top. We advise you not to overdo it with cumin if you don't like it very much because its taste is strong enough. Enjoy your meal!
