Recipe Gnocchi With Cherry Tomatoes And Ginger

ingredients:

1 kilo of potato gnocchi, 500 grams of cherry tomato, 4 centimeters of ginger root, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 chili pepper, 2 basil leaves, 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, salt to taste.





Recipe:

Put on the fire a pan full of adequately salted water and then dip the gnocchi. Meanwhile heat a round of extra virgin olive oil in a pan together with a clove of garlic in shirt. Peel a piece of ginger, slice it and add it to the pan as soon as the oil is hot and let it cook on a moderate flame. Wash and cut the tomatoes in half or in four depending on their size; add a piece of chilli pepper to the pan and let it cook for a few seconds. At this point we remove both the ginger and the garlic from the pan and the chili peppers that have released their aromas. Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook them on a high flame, flavoring them with basil leaves. While the tomatoes are cooking, dip the gnocchi in the boiling water; As soon as they come back to the surface, take them out of the water and transfer them to the pan with the tomato sauce. Briefly skip the gnocchi with the dressing to whisk well, adding fresh basil to taste. Serve the gnocchi immediately still very hot.
