Recipe Girelle With Zucchini

Doses for: 14 persone
realization time: 50 minutes

ingredients:

For the dough: 250 grams of ricotta, 1/2 tablespoon of salt, 120 ml of milk, 120 ml of sunflower oil, 1 packet of instant yeast for pies, about 400 grams of flour. For the first filling: 1/2 courgette, cooked ham and sweet provola to taste For the second filling: 1/2 courgette, cream cheese and pesto to taste

Recipe:

We prepare the girelle starting to pour the ricotta into a bowl, then add the milk, salt, seed oil and mix well. We begin to incorporate the flour a little at a time and add the yeast. Now the dough becomes solid and we transfer it to the work surface, continuing to work well with our hands until we have used all the flour and the dough is elastic and smooth and does not stick to the hands. Then divide the dough in half, dust a sheet of baking paper with flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin trying to get a rectangular shape. Now proceed with the first filling, completely cover the pastry with the cooked ham and the sliced provola. Then we take half a courgette and cut it into small pieces over the entire surface. Now, helping us with the edge of the baking paper, let's fold it up and turn it by pressing it lightly. Then with a knife we cut into slices about 2 cm wide, and here are our swivels that we place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Take the other half of the dough and spread the dough again, repeating the procedure, then make the second filling with a layer of spreadable cheese, and then pesto. Then cut the other half of the courgette into small pieces and form the roll. We cut the swivels and place them on another baking sheet. Bake in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes and the savory swivels are ready to be tasted, perfect both hot and cold!
