Recipe Coffee Semifreddo

ingredients:

For the coffee cream: 500 milliliters of already sweetened whipping cream, 250 grams of mascarpone, 80 grams of sugar, 2 cups of coffee, 3 tablespoons of instant coffee, 1 small glass of optional coffee liqueur. For the base: 10 ladyfingers, water with coffee water + coffee, for decoration: whipped cream and coffee beans, 50-100 grams of dark chocolate flakes or chocolate chips.





Recipe:

In a bowl, mix instant coffee and 2 cups of hot coffee. Add a small glass of coffee liqueur (optional). Finely chop the dark chocolate (if chocolate chips are not used) and set aside. Whip the already sweetened cream. Add the mascarpone and mix with the whisk. Then add the sugar while stirring constantly. Then add the coffee concentrate a little at a time and continue stirring. When the mixture is ready, pour 1/3 of the cream into a mold lined with parchment paper and level well. Form a strip of chopped chocolate in the center. Cover with another third of the cream. Repeat the process with chocolate. Complete with the rest of the cream and a final layer of chocolate. Finally, add a layer of biscuits lightly soaked in a syrup to the coffee. Put it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, then turn it out in reverse (with the ladyfingers as a base). Decorate with tufts of whipped cream and coffee beans.
