Recipe Sweet Two-colored Danube

Doses for: 8 persone
realization time: 3 hours and 15 minutes

ingredients:

250 ml of warm milk, 15 grams of brewer's yeast, 120 grams of sugar, 120 ml of sunflower oil, 1 egg, a sachet of vanillin, grated peel of half a lemon, 550 grams of flour half manitoba and half 00,15 grams of bitter cocoa For the filling: 1 bar of milk chocolate and 1 bar of dark chocolate.

Recipe:

In a bowl pour the warm milk and crumble the yeast. Stir to dissolve the yeast well. Then add the sugar, sunflower oil, an egg, a sachet of vanillin and the grated peel of half a lemon. Let's start mixing and add the flour a handful at a time. When we added half the flour, we divide the dough into two bowls. In a bowl, add the bitter cocoa. We take the white dough again and continue to add flour, we work on the table, until we obtain an elastic and homogeneous mixture. We do the same with the cocoa mixture. Put the dough into two floured bowls and cross-cut; cover with a film and let rise for about two hours until the dough has doubled in volume. With the Combisteam oven I use lievitazine pasta for about an hour. In two bowls we prepare 12 squares of white chocolate and 12 squares of dark chocolate. Once the leavening is over we take up the dough again. We divide each of them into 12 parts of the same weight, about 40 grams. With the rolling pin we spread each piece of dough, inside we put a small square of chocolate and then close the dough as if it were a bundle by pinching the edges up to close it. Alternate and place the white chocolate in the cocoa mixture, and the dark chocolate in the white dough so when the cake is cut we will have contrasting colors. In the end we have 12 white and 12 cocoa bundles. We prepare an 8-portion rectangular aluminum baking pan, grease and flour and arrange the balls alternating colors. Cover with a plastic wrap and leave to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. At this point we bake at 180 ° for about 35 minutes in a static oven. Once cooked, we turn out the sweet danube, remove it from the pan and place it on a nice tray. It's ready to be enjoyed!
