Recipe Pumpkin Cake

ingredients:

300 grams of pumpkin, 220 grams of sugar, 4 eggs, 150 grams of sunflower oil, 100 grams of corn starch, 300 grams of flour, 50 grams of almond grain, 1 packet of yeast (16 grams), sugar a veil to decorate.





Recipe:

Let's start the cake by cleaning the pumpkin and after grating it completely leave it aside. In another bowl we break the eggs, start mixing them with an electric mixer and in the meantime add the sugar, sunflower oil, cornstarch and half the flour a little at a time to avoid lumps. Now we add the grated pumpkin and the sachet of yeast, we start to blend again and then we add the other half of the remaining flour; finally we pour the chopped almonds. At this point our cake dough is ready. Grease and flour a round baking pan of 28 cm in diameter and pour the mixture. Now we can bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes in a preheated static oven. Once cooked let cool, remove the cake from the pan and arrange it on a plate decorating it with icing sugar.
