What could be better than nurturing your children's passions? Before the busy schedule of school and sports kicks in again, we are relaunching our cooking classes for kids. We’ve designed a program specifically to offer your children—or grandchildren—moments of pure fun that blend learning with creativity. These four lessons are dedicated to young cooking enthusiasts; four sessions where the little chefs take center stage alongside our Chef Luigi. Each class will be a mini-journey into a world usually reserved for adults: selecting ingredients, handling food, kneading dough, getting a little messy, and tasting the results. It will feel like play, yet it is the perfect way to learn new things and hone manual, sensory, and social skills. From the very start, our young chefs will take ownership of their role in the kitchen; they will discuss various preparation techniques, ingredient selection, and the properties of the components that make up their delicious new recipes. In our workshop, junior chefs will learn key concepts—such as basic hygiene rules, the fundamentals of waste sorting, and the principles of healthy eating—fostering a greater sense of awareness and a willingness to help out with the family’s daily kitchen routine at home. Above all, however, our workshop is hands-on: each junior chef will have their own workstation, ingredients, utensils, and equipment to create tasty, creative dishes under the guidance of our chef. These budding chefs will be encouraged to unleash their imagination and inventiveness, crafting delicious food with their own hands to enjoy together afterwards. It is a fun way to learn the tricks of the trade, handle ingredients skillfully, and experiment with new flavor combinations. In September, we will embark on an ideal "culinary journey, " with each lesson dedicated to the traditional recipes of a specific region or country. Your children will learn a wide range of recipes that they can then prepare and share with you at home. Each lesson covers basic cooking techniques—mixing, adding ingredients, cooking, plating, and garnishing—making the process so enjoyable that, for these budding cooks, it will feel just like a game!
