Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Meanwhile, clean the broccoli by removing the stem. Cut it into large pieces. Salt the water and add the broccoli. Cover and cook for about ten to fifteen minutes. Drain in a blender by adding a ladle of cooking water. Whisk. If necessary, add broth and continue to blend until obtaining a creamy consistency. Add the cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Whisk. Taste constantly to control the flavor and eventually correct by adding more salt or more Parmesan. Serve alone or accompanied with toasted bread or bruschetta.
